A New Podcast - Alice's Space

There she is, Alice Harwood. There's a lot that I don't know about her and a lot that I learn on a daily basis. However, what I can tell you is this - Alice, is an extraordinary being. These pictures can't possibly give you the true sense of the wonderful garden she attends on a daily basis.

Chickens figure in all of this, as well as bees and many a wild creature who live within this very magical and extremely blessed spot on our planet. It is along side the Middle Branch Williams RIver, which creates a curving boarder between the tillable soil, enormous stone reality surrounding the river ( thanks to Irene) and the dragon spine ridge, and trees attempting to stabilize upon it.

I say upon it because at first glance one see's that the ridge is in flux. The trees are not all stabilized and they are in true danger of continuing to fall. Not sure when it's going to right itself.

After spending a great deal of time moving around, Alice settled in Vermont to start a family. She raised two very present and vibrant sons and then pursued her higher education, that actually led her to heights I'm not sure she intended. She accomplished a BA from Vermont College and a Masters from SNHU and believe it or not she is currently pursuing an EdD from that same seriously innovative school. She worked as a public and school libraries ( yes she is a librarian! ) and she served on Vermont's Red Clover Book Award Committee. During 2011/2012 she became involved with HeartMath which you will hear prominently discussed in this our first podcast. This involvement caused a substantial change in her life, expanding her abilities in many serious ways. In her words "...it refined my intuition, advanced my psychic abilities & furthered my gifts in energy healing." She has studied with teachers and practitioners such as: Deena Zalkind Spear, Dr. Bradley Nelson, Alison David-Bird, Donna Eden & David Feinstein. And, frankly, she is quite the teacher herself.

IS that enough for one person to be involved in? Hmmmm, well, guess what - SHE IS A FABULOUSLY SENSITIVE CHEF. I mean, her food always has something special to it. The simplest fare becomes imbued flavors that - if it were dark - I swear they'd glow. They certainly make themselves known upon your taste buds. And, yes, the above cupcake was made as we were working yesterday. You should have tasted the frittata, sorry, the only picture is in my head!

There's so much more to say about Alice, but she'd probably tell me I spent too much time focused upon her. There is a great magical quality to her, and the space that she has created both in the DreamBarnHollow, the Garden, The Gazebo, The Fire-pit, Beehives, Chicken enclosure, I'm sure I've left things out. Are constantly in an abundant flux! And, then, of course, cooking, gardening, teaching, creating, it all has one enchanted ingredient, love!

So if you were not thinking that this week has given you much. Or if you're feeling like a bit of special ice cream or a special sweet treat, it's already happened. Listen to our first podcast. More are coming I promise you, there are 4 people ( that I know of) working behind the scenes to bring no. 2. Click the link below and hear what I'm talking about.

Lastly, yes, I will continue to be involved and I couldn't be more thrilled.

Thank you all for being with me here today. Thomas
